Junk That Funk was founded in 2007 and services the greater Ottawa-Carleton region including Gatineau, Hull, Cumberland, Rockland, Bourget, and Stittsville. We are a proud owner-operated business in Ottawa, are not a franchise or service chain, and have laid roots in our community for nearly 20 years. We are licensed by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change as a fully insured junk removal company servicing residential, industrial, and commercial customers. We pick up over 150 tons a month of mixed waste. We are Ottawa's leading e-waste collector, known for our free community e-waste drop-off events. We've collected over 4 million pounds of e-waste in the Ottawa-Carleton region over the past 10 years. Since 2009, we've taken part in the City of Ottawa's Take It Back Program. Since 2015, we've partnered with the charity Their Opportunity to help low-income families enroll their children in local sports programs.
