Join us for our upcoming E-Waste Collection and Roundup event at the Jim Durrell Complex! This event is designed to help residents and businesses in Ottawa responsibly dispose of their electronic waste. On Saturday, June 7, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., we will be accepting a variety of electronic items that may be taking up valuable space in your home or office.

What is E-Waste?

E-waste, or electronic waste, refers to discarded electrical or electronic devices. It includes anything from old computers and televisions to VCRs and DVD players. E-waste is a growing concern as it contains hazardous materials that can be detrimental to the environment if not disposed of properly. By participating in our e-waste collection event, you are taking a step toward sustainable waste management.

We welcome residential, industrial, commercial, and institutional e-waste materials at this site. Last time, we collected over 3 tonnes of e-waste, successfully keeping it out of Ottawa's landfills.
