Throughout the month of May, we hosted four successful e-waste events, attracting over 600 drop-offs. These events provided an excellent opportunity for residents and businesses to dispose of their unwanted electronic items responsibly.

During these events, we collected:

• 2 tons of batteries: This includes various types such as hearing aids and car batteries.
• Over 1,000 lbs. of wires and cables: Ensuring these materials are recycled properly is crucial for environmental sustainability.

Working with Local Charities

A key aspect of our e-waste events is our partnership with Their Opportunity, a charity dedicated to providing low-income families the means to enroll their children in local sports and recreational programs. Together, we co-hosted three of our four events in May. This collaboration not only benefits the community but also helps children develop confidence, social skills, and a healthy lifestyle through sports.
